Grapheme [-ed] Ending Flashcard Introduction

Show the flashcards to the students while chanting the word, emphasizing the target phoneme. For example, “/t/-/t/-fixed”

Sight Word Introduction

Present the sight word flashcards. Practice chanting the words with the class as a group. Then, let each student read the word individually, correcting for mistakes as needed. Demonstrate using the sight word in a sentence, and encourage students to do the same.
