Phoneme Differentiation
Take two flashcards that contain different phonemes. Say one of the flashcards and have students identify the target phoneme. After playing this way for several rounds, now, say the phoneme and have students identify the flashcard that begins with that phoneme.
Sight Words “who” and “world”
Make several copies of the sight word. Use blue tack to stick the sight words all around the classroom. Let the students go around the room and hunt for the sight words. If they can find one and read it correctly, you can give them a sticker (you can also give stickers to students who make a good effort).
Lesson Duration: 10-15 mins
Materials Needed: Short oo flashcards, other phoneme flashcards, many copies of sight words “who” and “world” flashcards
