Long O Flashcard Introduction

Show the flashcard to the students while chanting the word, emphasizing the target phoneme. For example, “ow-ow-bow.”

Sight Word “one”

Present the sight word flashcard. Practice chanting the word with the class as a group. Then, let each student read the word individually, correcting for mistakes as needed. Demonstrate using the sight word in a sentence, and encourage students to do the same.
